How to use "ATR" for trading that make sense and practical
As you know ATR is an indicator that tells about the volatility of the market. It's not using to predict up or down it just tells about a movement of the product in the time frame that you interest. On my trading, I use it to create a strategy for entry and exit.

Create the war zone
Before trading, We need to know the map of war that was created by a lot of people e.g. fund, investor, speculator, robot, and magician those who leave a trace. We no need to know the direction of the market but we have to know about volatility So ATR is the answer.
